July 1, 2004 - Chronicle Technologies, Inc. signed a deal with ServiceMaster Clean, making ServiceMaster Clean Chronicle for DR ServiceMaster's official program for managing the customer relationship side of disaster restoration franchises. Chronicle had been a preferred vendor since 2001, but this deal solidifies the relationship. Chronicle is now part of all new DR franchises and for DR businesses that convert to being ServiceMaster Clean franchises.

This move offers significant efficiency gains for owners and managers: Chronicle users consistently report the ability to manage greater workloads with less management time; the ability to respond to customer and adjustor questions in seconds instead of hours or days; and the ability to see complex profitability and job analyses in seconds instead of days.

Given the tight integration between Chronicle and QuickBooks, the fact that ServiceMaster Clean has also chosen QuickBooks as the official accounting program guarantees further benefits: Customer and accounting information is automatically transferred between Chronicle and QuickBooks, eliminating double entry and making analysis of costs, revenues, and profits possible not only for individual jobs but also for activities, service lines, and the company as a whole.
