Mission
The
management problems facing small business owners or
managers are very similar to those of larger enterprises.
Each requires employing multiple specialties in the
proper sequence to complete multiple projects. Chronicle
began with the idea of solving a small business dilemma:
Fulfill the management and operational needs of a small
business with a tool that is affordable, yet virtually
indistinguishable in terms of functionality from the
high-end enterprise applications used by major corporations.

How it started
Chronicle was founded in January
2000 in Rancho Cucamonga, California as a privately
held, venture-funded web enabled small business enterprise
software application designed primarily for commercial
and residential contracting services businesses. The
inspiration for the business was an interest in commercially
selling a software application originally developed
for the ServiceMaster disaster restoration franchise
located in Rancho Cucamonga, CA.
